The Flipper Bridge Project at the Crossing Between Hong Kong and China

Hong Kong roads are different from the rest of roads in China. Hong Kong, the former British colony has kept the British tradition to drive on the right side of the road. However, when you want to connect such place with the rest of the “normal” world which is driving on the left side of the road, you have to have a crossing point specially designed for that.

Here you can see a number of projects which were submitted by architects to a competition for the construction of the Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities.

One of those is The Flipper Bridge and it is used to safely connect the roads where people drive on the left side and the roads where people drive on the right side.

Lucky Driver Almost Swallowed by Sinkhole in China

Remember those sinkholes in Guatemala? Well, it seems that Guatemala is not only place where such things happen.

A driver who was passing through Jiangxi Province has had a lot of luck when his car almost sunk into one smaller sinkhole. The 13-feet wide sinkhole suddenly appeared on highway near Nanchang City in front of him and his car was trapped on the top of it. He managed to escape without injuries.

This is not the first case of appearance of such sinkhole, more than 30 similar sinkholes have been found in Jiangxi Province in last two months. Sinkholes may be caused by heavy rains and underground waters.

Incredible Abilities of Parrots Revealed at the Parrot Championship in China

Parrots are incredibly smart animals, as we already know, some of them are even able to speak but, did you even hear about parrot which can do weightlifting or can drive a parro-bike?

Here you can see a few of amazing photos from unnamed parrot championship where dozens of these beautiful and intelligent animals showed what they are able to do.

I have seen a lot of weird things, I have seen elephants which could play basketball or paint some true masterpieces but I could never imagine that I will see a bird which is able to drive a bike or roller-skates. That is just incredible!

Until now I have believed that Japan is the world’s weirdest country with weirdest things to see in it, however, I am starting to change my opinion about this believing that China could take its place on my rang list.

Latest incredible news from China are about the man who managed to pull whole car with his eyelids.

Yes this incredible story is true, 22-year old Li Dasheng who performs a number of other similar crazy stunts, can pull 1,5-ton car with his lower eyelids. He moved the car for about 3 meters.

I believe you must be really dedicated and practice months or years to achieve this since I am not sure if I would be able to do this even with my hands

Sandstorm Hits China’s Capital, Beijing

Sandstorm is something what you really don’t want to experience, especially if you are outside of your home. Sandstorms are common in China but you don’t see every day a city like Beijing hit with such weather.

Chinese capital, Beijing, today was covered with a sand because of a sandstorm that plagued northwestern China in the past few weeks.

Sandstorm hit the Capital of China bringing tons of sand and it was followed by strong winds. Here you can see some of photos from Tiananmen Square in Beijing where tourists were surprised by this sandstorm.

White Whales Are Making Heart-Shaped Bubbles

You have probably already heard about Harbin Polarland in China where you can see amazing construction made out of ice and snow.

Here’s another wonder from Harbin Polarland, the two white whales that are trained to make hear-shaped bubbles in the water. After a year of training those amazing whales are able to make almost perfect bubbles and most of them are hearth-shaped.
