QWERTY Keyboard Shoe for Super-Geeky Footprints

I like when I have shoes which are leaving interesting footprint when I walk over dusty or snowy areas. I have examined the footprints of the shoes since my childhood but I have never seen a shoe which will leave cooler footprint than this one.

This shoe may look ordinary when you look it from the upper side but when you turn it to see its bottom side you’ll find that shoe has suddenly became qwerty keyboard.

And here is another pair of amazingly geeky shoes which are not leaving so cool footprints as previous one but they have plenty of keys all over them. They were presented during the 14th China International Clothing and Accessories Fair.

Few months ago a Russian company called Marine Inovative Tehcnologies has developed and patented a design of pedal powered submarine. The submarine could transport two persons and could dive about 30 meters in depth.

However, it was pretty expensive solution and there had to be two persons in it to provide enough power for diving.

Scubster submarine which is designed by Stephane Rousson is pedal-powered submarine and here you can see some photos from its testing which has been done on July 28 in France.

This submarine looks way cheaper and simpler than MIT’s. It is built from carbon fiber but it can dive only about 5 meters in depth.

Steampunk has gathered a lot of fans, most of them guys who love to do little modifications of their gadgets and furniture. Similar to steampunk ‘movement’ there are a few of enthusiast who are contributing some cool designs and mods made from wood.

If I would have to choose between steampunk and wooden gadget, I would definitely choose a wooden one. This artistic wooden replica of NES is not actually a gadget, it is just a ‘NES sculpture’.

It has been posted for sale at Ebay with starting price of $250 but it seems that no one has enough courage to take that challenge and to buy it.

Awesome Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Back Pack

When I was a kid, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was my favorite animated TV show, I never missed a single episode. Other kids liked them too and we have often played and imitated Michelangelo, Rafaello, Leonardo and Donatello. I liked to be Michelangelo and I even had created a pair of nunchuks for me. If I had the back pack like this one, then I would certainly look more convincing in my efforts to imitate TMNT character.

This super cool back pack is really something unique which will make everyone look at you. It is designed to look exactly like those turtle shells which TMNT heroes wear. And if you think this won’t make you enough similar to TMNT characters then, there it is an eye mask which comes with the backpack. Lucky Driver Almost Swallowed by Sinkhole in China

Remember those sinkholes in Guatemala? Well, it seems that Guatemala is not only place where such things happen.

A driver who was passing through Jiangxi Province has had a lot of luck when his car almost sunk into one smaller sinkhole. The 13-feet wide sinkhole suddenly appeared on highway near Nanchang City in front of him and his car was trapped on the top of it. He managed to escape without injuries.

This is not the first case of appearance of such sinkhole, more than 30 similar sinkholes have been found in Jiangxi Province in last two months. Sinkholes may be caused by heavy rains and underground waters.

It is interesting how parents can be competitive when it is about their kids. They will always do maximal efforts to ensure their kid is the best in neighborhood. That is not just because of natural-born sense for care it is also the matter of competition with other parents.

London-Based Insects to Get Luxury Five Star Hotels

The idea about making an hotel for insects sounds pretty freaky but someone decided to make such hotel, too. Arup Associates have created a few of five star hotel which is going to house different kind of insects.

Arup Associates designed five possible solution for creating a luxury residence for insects. Their designs are the part of architectural competition which has goal to design the best hotel for insects.

Once when the right design is chosen and the construction of the hotel is finished, it will host beetles, bees, butterflies, spiders etc. The few of such hotels will be placed at different places in London. The competition is run by British Land and the City of London Corporation. Here you can see a few of proposals for the winning design of five star hotel for insects.

Drunk Parrots are Falling From Sky in Australia’s Northern Territory

The media in Australia are reporting about very unusual event which, believe it or not, includes drunken parrots.

A dozen of parrots are reported to be seen falling from sky and failing in their flight after they have consumed plants which caused them to loose their balance during the flight.

The plant which causes such behavior amongst parrot is not yet revealed but local residents are aware of this for a longer time. This unusual occasion happens every year in summer season in the Northern Territory in Australia where residents bring to animal doctors approximately eight of fallen birds every day.

Franco Banfi is photographer who lives in a village near to Lugano Lake in Switzerland. As you will later see, the most of his photography work is based on taking underwater photos.

He started his career as an underwater photographer in 1981. when he took first underwater photos in the Lugano Lake.
