Japan has always been a place where you could find unimaginably creepy things. I do not know is it because of their culture or what but from time to time we have oportunity to hear about really incredible things from this part of the world.

Today we are going to talk about one location which is awesome and creepy at the same time. The Kori no Suizokukan is frozen aquarium. It is a place where you can find about few hundreds of frozen animals from different seas.

Animals are frozen and placed in ice cubes. If you want to visit this place you’ll have to use a special suit which keeps you warm since the temperatures in this place are lower than -20 degrees Celsius.

After you are done with the visit you can warm up in Maguro Shashimi restaurant which is few steps away from this frozen aquarium.

Maho Beach, Where People Come to Watch Airplanes

Maho Beach is one of those beaches where people not go primarily because they want to enjoy in ordinary beach activities like swimming and enjoying in sun. This beach gives their visitors a little bit different but really unique experience.

Maho Beach can be found in St Maarten island in Netherlands Antilles. The most impressive “feature” of this unique location is Princess Juliana International Airport which is located just a few feet away from the beach.

This unusually small distance from beach forces pilots of airplanes to fly very low over the beach in order to land properly. The problem is that beach is too close to the landing spot so airplanes are flying just few meters over tourists heads.

For those who come here just to enjoy in beach this will probably be annoying thing and little bit horrifying too. But most of tourists come there to enjoy in excitement when huge jet aircraft passes over their heads.

60-Feet Tall Gundam Statue Built in Shizuoka City

We know that Japan is some kind of wonderland because a lot of people there do like some funny and some bizarre things. One of obsessions amongst Japanese people is their love for anime movies. They love them so much that they have started to build statues of some characters from those anime movies.

One of such statues is this 60-feet tall statue which was built in Shizuoka City. There is also one similar 60-feet tall statue in Odaiba district of Tokyo.

It’s a huge statue of one of the characters from Gundam anime movie designed by Yoshiyuki Tomino.

Istanbul is one of the world’s most amazing and most beautiful cities where millions of people are living their everyday lives. It is amazing mixture of cultures with very warm and welcoming people.

One of the most amazing things is that in most parts of Istanbul it is hard to notice some differences between classes in society. It is a place where everyone is poor and everyone is rich.

Istanbul and few of other cities in Turkey are unique place in Europe where you still can find street-workers who are managing to live from their jobs. There is a lot of shoe-cleaners, newspaper sellers, food and drink sellers and many other professions all of them done on street. On streets of Istanbul you can buy almost everything without any need to enter some shop.

It is important to notice that people in Istanbul are great fans of tea and they are tea-drinking nation.

Dennis Ziliotto is Italian freelance photographer who has been traveling to Istanbul with his camera and he has took those amazing photos where you can see some of many faces of usual people from Istambul, many of them are street-workers and small businessmen.

Jeremy Burfoot Will Travel From London to New Zealand by Jetski

51-year old pilot Jeremy Burfoot is aiming to break some records by traveling from London to New Zealand by jetski. He has been inspired with that idea from his first officer after he managed to travel around New Zealand on jetski in 2006.

The distance which he needs to pass on his jetski from London to Auckland is about 32.000 km and estimated time of his adventure would be about 4 months.

His risky adventure has not been welcomed by his wife which calls him “idiot” for trying do do such thing but, it seems that it doesn’t takes much effect on him while he is preparing for the trip. He is starting his attempt to break the record for the longest ride of personal watercraft tomorrow and he is planning to finish the trip in November.

One of his goals is to raise awareness of cancer diseases after he has been battling with skin cancer for a while.

He already managed to successfully travel 5000 km around New Zealand so he might be able to do that again but this risky trip will last little bit longer.

He has also created a Twitter account for those who want to stay update with all his adventures during his long journey.

London-Based Insects to Get Luxury Five Star Hotels

The idea about making an hotel for insects sounds pretty freaky but someone decided to make such hotel, too. Arup Associates have created a few of five star hotel which is going to house different kind of insects.

Arup Associates designed five possible solution for creating a luxury residence for insects. Their designs are the part of architectural competition which has goal to design the best hotel for insects.

Once when the right design is chosen and the construction of the hotel is finished, it will host beetles, bees, butterflies, spiders etc. The few of such hotels will be placed at different places in London. The competition is run by British Land and the City of London Corporation. Here you can see a few of proposals for the winning design of five star hotel for insects.

Beautiful Spotted Lake in Osoyoos, British Columbia

If you come by near Osoyoos in British Columbia do not miss the chance to visit one of the most strangest lakes in the world. It is called Osoyoos Lake but it is also famous by names like Dotted Lake or Spotted Lake.

When you see the following photos of it, you will see why they call it Dotted Lake. There are plenty of strange dots there on it and it looks like it is totally from other planet. Actually it is contained of a lot of little lakes. It is believed that water in this lake has some healing power since it very rich with minerals.

Cancun to Host World’s Largest Underwater Museum

Have you ever visited underwater museum? I have to admit that this idea sounds very nice and exciting. Cancun authorities certainly do know that and they decided to build there world’s largest underwater museum.

Underwater museum is going to be placed at the National Park West Coast of Isla Mujeres in Cancun. Cancun is already known as one of the most attractive touristic destinations of the world and when they get finished this museum they will become more attractive certainly.

This place is visited by more than 700,000 tourists every year. When museum is finished there will be about 400 different concrete sculptures placed in it.
