Rolf  Buchholz is a 52 year old computer specialist, he entered the world of piercing eleven years back, and he liked it so much that since then he had 453 piercings in different parts of his body. You may be thinking that he got all those piercings on his face and head, but you would be wrong if you are thinking like that. He has a total of 94 piercing around his lips, 25 around his eyebrows and 8 in his nose and extraordinary 278 piercings in his genital area, and that is really unbelievable. He also loved tattoos, apart from his passion for piercings.

Even with the fact that he has more piercings compared to any other man in the world, Rolf still need to do more if he wants to be the most pierced person in the world, Elaine Davidson is the most pierced woman in the world, she has 7000 piercings throughout her body. Along with many other record holders Rolf has been added to the latest Guinness Book of Records edition, which is available for $28.95.

Monsanto was called the most town of Portuguese in Portugal in 1938, which looks weird, determining majority of buildings in Portugal are not crushed between two bedrocks, or have huge rocks dangling on top of hem, but because of its open air museum it has been successful in keeping its outer appearance over all these years. Because to building limitations in the area, the appearance of Monsanto has not changed for all these years and has been able to keep its real beauty.

There are many buildings in Monsanto and all are unique to the place, like huge boulders installed with doors that resulted in living quarters made from steep rock, the small town includes some features of Portuguese architecture, like the church and houses constructed in Manueline format, and others affected by gothic Romanesque. The confined streets just are wide enough that a donkey can walk through or climb up a very steep hill of 400 feet, you can see the ruins of Templar Castle at the top.

This place is located 12 kilometers away from the Idaha-a-Nova municipality and 160 kms from the Salamanca, a Spanish city. Reaching Monsanto by public transportation is not very easy. But it is definitely worth the trouble that you will take when you consider the unique scenes of this small town.

Megan always has been very much interested in cars, and since she grew up in her father’s garage she learned some things about classic cars. She always liked and dreamed of having Porsche 356, it is the first model generated by the German car manufacturer. She couldn’t afford such an expensive car, so she made her mind to make her own car. Son of Porsche’s founder, Ferdinand Porsche created The 356, and he shared many parts with Volkswagen Beetle, to make it more reasonable. Megan paid just £200 for Beetle (1969 model) in the year 2004, she was a student at that time and she planned to transform it into her dream car.

She began to mess with her Volkswagen and she ended up in tearing it down to its framework since it had to be shortened. She fixed large cylinders and pistons into the engine to increase the power from 1285cc to 1776 cc, she changed the entire body of the car and installed beautiful interior of Porsche that is mahogany finishing with white leather interior and steering wheel and speedometer of 356. She kept the wheels and engines same as of 1969 Volkswagen Beetle.

It took almost six years for her to do the framework and finish it, but she just completed it in time to take it for her wedding in August.

She used the cow as her inspiration for her career in art, this may seem strange for many people, but it makes sense when you look at the history of her schooling. She studies about horses at the Equine College Ypaja. Before attending the school of Fine Arts in Finland, she studied about dairy farming at the Dairy Farming School of North-Savo. Miin is called as a protector of Finncattle, the native dairy breed of Finalnd, and she even has her own cows. When she was asked about her relationship with cows, she said that, her feelings for the cows are much deeper than feelings of mother for her children, it is stronger than feeling she ever had for a lover. She says that it is more than anything on earth for her, it is like blood vessels to her. She even said that she shares a placenta with cows. She said, they share the same blood. She sees the world through a telescope of cow. She has a small piece of macaroni through which she sees at the world from a point of view of cow.

This new Giant sculpture of cow that she has made using car parts is really amazing and I don’t think anyone of use could have even imagined something like this.

49 year old Li Yanping stays in a bashful 40 square meter country house and hardly sustains on a small income, but that has not stopped her from her task of taking care of dozens of such children, majority of them are physically or mentally handicapped. She was born in 1964, in Mu village, she got married at a very young age of 21 and very soon she had her first baby. Her long story of modern day Mother Theresa started in 1989, very soon after the birth of her natural child, when her husband found a kid abandoned near their door. After analyzing it more carefully, the couple understood that the child suffered from abnormalities, but they accepted it, fed it and took care of the child, even with their financial problems. But they were only able to take care of two babies at that time. They came to a desperate decision of giving up their own son for adoption, when the shortage of milk and lack of money became too much to handle. They thought that someone would definitely adopt their healthy baby, whereas the disabled kid almost had no chance of survival.

There were some people who criticized the decision of Li Yanping, but many admired the lady for her sacrifice and kindheartedness. Since then, she and her husband found various other abandoned children on their doorstep and they accepted all of them despite of their financial difficulties. Li’s husband passed away seven years ago, this was a terrible shock in her life, and she was left alone with 13 children who depended on her for all their needs.

A record number of participants registered milk carton boat race this year, 36 teams were present on the Lielupe River on 27^th of August, to show their marine skills. There were some rules to be obeyed by the teams for this event, boats had to be made of empty milk cartons exclusively and had to be instructed to the finish line with help of human power only. The boat size and number of rowers was not restricted. The race was only 50 meters long, which is the shortest distance so far. Teams had a hard time in finishing as they had to paddle with a strong wind. Some of the team members jumped into the river to push the boats to the finish line.

Heather Hems is a 69 years old pensioner, she says that she has dedicated more than 70,000 hours in sewing, for last 17 years, she has been busy with her typesetter job, raised three children and house chores, along with all these things she has also managed to do this wonderful masterpiece. You may ask, how did she find time to do all these things? She says she worked whole day, then she took care of children and finally sat down and continued her hobby of sewing for ten to twelve hours every night. She was only able to sleep for couple of hours at night before starting it all over again. This amazingly strong lady says she owes all the credit to her father who always challenged to do things when she was small.

Heather Hems affection for embroidery started when she was only ten years old, she was born in Sri Lanka, her passion started from here. Since then she dedicated her life to it. Throughout all those years, she has created different large-scale works for charity foundations, it ultimately encouraged her to begin the work on the 23 embroidered panels. She wanted to dedicate the work to the people and events that changed her life and made her what she is today. She is basically from Lyndhurst, England, she spent thousands of pounds on sewing materials and she had to go through a shoulder surgery after her bones crushed because of holding a heavy panel for long hours. But she didn’t stop and she moved on the path of her goal and now she is the proud owner of a 50 square meter collection embroidery.

Raincatch coat looks like a normal plastic bag filled with tubes, but in reality it hides a complicated water purifying system. The collar of the raincoat holds rainwater and then passes it through charcoal filters and chemical purifying mechanism. The water is then stored in pockets all over the shoulders and the person who is wearing the coat can sip the water at any time through the plastic pipes coming out of raincoat.

I would definitely love to have a Raincatch raincoat, so that I can use it when the problem of shortage of drinking water in this world arises.

He just uses a simple toothpick and scratches designs on the banana and the bruised part get darker when he scratches harder. The oxidation starts appearing on the banana within only five minutes, it gets darker after couple of days.

Many of you must be wondering how the artist Jun Gil Park came with this amazing technique of turning bananas into art works. It all started like this, he was sitting at a the table one day, he was talking to his family as usual and he had a toothpick in his mouth, he saw a banana in front of him and he started scratching on it while talking and he noticed the amazing art appearing on banana. This is when he decided that he should make an attempt for something more detailed next time.

I know many of you are ready to taste this fast food monument, but unfortunately it is only for decoration. The Big Mac, which was created more than 40 years ago is the most popular sandwich in the world. It was discovered by Jim Delligatti, owner of a McDonald’s franchise from Uniontown, and it was then added to the menus of McDonald around the world following the immediate success of Big Mac. With 550 million sales in US alone, Macs are sold all around the world each year. It weighs nearly half a pound, with 29 grams of fat and 540 calories, the Big Mac is not a favorite food for nutritionist, but majority of them say that eating once in a while is not a big deal, as long as it doesn’t become a habit.
