Hi guys, this is my funny kitten Timmy. He is one of the laziest cats I have ever seen but I believe that this is because he has some geeky genes in his blood since he likes to spend the most of its time on the top of my CRT monitor. He just loves to sit there and, as you can see from those photos, from a time to time, he uses to get involved into what’s happening on the monitor right now. At this point he is doing some serious examination of the latest problem I couldn’t solve myself so Timmy has jumped in to give his contribution

769 People Sets New World Record in Human-Domino Line

Domino is awesome source of elements to create some structures or lines which and then to ignite one domino in order to ruin the whole construction. Someone has found idea to create human-domino line with the help of mattresses which are used for preventing injuries.

At the end of previous month there was an attempt in Germany to set new world record in longest human-dominoes line. 769 people took a part in this entertaining event and beat previous record which has been set in Dubai with human-dominoes line of 344 people. This event was held on Weida football stadium.

The human-domino line is a discipline in Guinness World of Records and every human-domino holding a huge mattress has to fall in order to properly achieve record.

When I was a kid, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was my favorite animated TV show, I never missed a single episode. Other kids liked them too and we have often played and imitated Michelangelo, Rafaello, Leonardo and Donatello. I liked to be Michelangelo and I even had created a pair of nunchuks for me. If I had the back pack like this one, then I would certainly look more convincing in my efforts to imitate TMNT character.

This super cool back pack is really something unique which will make everyone look at you. It is designed to look exactly like those turtle shells which TMNT heroes wear. And if you think this won’t make you enough similar to TMNT characters then, there it is an eye mask which comes with the backpack. London-Based Insects to Get Luxury Five Star Hotels

The idea about making an hotel for insects sounds pretty freaky but someone decided to make such hotel, too. Arup Associates have created a few of five star hotel which is going to house different kind of insects.

Arup Associates designed five possible solution for creating a luxury residence for insects. Their designs are the part of architectural competition which has goal to design the best hotel for insects.

Once when the right design is chosen and the construction of the hotel is finished, it will host beetles, bees, butterflies, spiders etc. The few of such hotels will be placed at different places in London. The competition is run by British Land and the City of London Corporation. Here you can see a few of proposals for the winning design of five star hotel for insects.

Sometimes regular carrying cases for your favorite smartphone (iPHone of course) is not cool enough. Thingverse’s user juniortan has created something different. It is an iPhone case which is obviously designed for modern cowboys. Juniortan claims that his katana is not mean enough so he had to create a new kind of weapon for himself.

Here you are watching at few of photos of the revolver-like iPhone case which you might not want to bring with yourself while traveling by an airplane.

This revolver doesn’t need the bullets, it is enough to ‘charge’ it with your iPhone and it will be as mean as the real one.

Indian Authorities Arrested Pakistani Pigeon

Indian authorities have captured a Pakistani pigeon which allegedly was a part of unknown spy network in India.

Local residents of the Punjab state in India have captured a white pigeon and handled it to police forces. The pigeon is accused to be a spying tool since he had written a telephone number and address which refers to Pakistan.

Pigeon is now held in prison where he is examined by Indian police officers. The pigeon is held in good conditions and in air conditioned room.

P.S.
The pigeon which is shown in photo related to this article is not related to alleged spy network ot is in any kind of relation with Pakistan or India. It is ordinary pigeon who was caught while he was doing his homework.

Tortufana, the Health Care Center For Turtles in Costa Rica

You think health care is only for humans? Well, not for all humans, as we know, but the more shocking fact is that some animals get better health care than humans.

The health care center for turtles called Tortufauna in La Garita de Alajuela, Costa Rica, is one of such places where you can bring your beloved little turtle pet and it will be treated by turtle medicine specialists.

The most surprising fact for me is that this place is actually in Latin American country where a lot of people have a lot of problems and health care is just one of them. However it seems that some people in Costa Rica have enough money for such thing.

This center is first health care center for turtles in Central and Latin America and their staff are mostly occupied by curing injured turtles (which probably got injured because of careless owners). This center’s capacity is about 80 treated turtles per month.

Fish Soccer World Cup: Japan vs Denmark

Japanese people are known as huge fans of baseball which is one of the most popular sports there, but, the majority of Japan citizens also likes soccer and they are pretty excited by the fact that their national team is going to attend another FIFA Soccer World Cup which is to be hold in June, in South Africa.

Hakkeijima Sea Paradise is aquarium in Yokohama where most fanatic fish-lovers and Japanese national soccer teams supporters decided to create a little fish tank which is actually made to look like soccer stadium.

They put there a blue tang fishes (also known as Blue Samurai) which were symbolizing the Japanese soccer team. The pair of flame angelfish was used to symbolize the Denmark national soccer team which is going to be Japan’s first opponent on the Soccer World Cup next month.

The ball is made of transparent material and was filled with the fish food so fishes were continuously swimming towards it.
