She Grew Her Nails For 22 Years to Become Popular

48 year old Jazz Ison Sinkfield from Atlanta, Georgia has not cut her finger nails for twenty two years, she was hoping that one day her nails could bring her the name and glory that she has been always dreaming of.

Though she has to go through hard time while doing her easiest household tasks, Jazz says that she feels blessed. She is one nail-obsessed grandmother and thinks she is talented enough to grow and take care of her long nails very well, because she says that it is not something everyone can do. She visits the nail saloon on regular basis for nail care sessions for five hours and she spends almost $500 every time. There are not many people in the world who can spend so much of money on such things.

Mrs. Jazz says that her long fingernails are her best friends and she can’t even think of having them clipped. She treats her nails just like her kids, she says when she can’t stop loving her kids, how can she stop loving her nails? Her longest fingernail measures 24 inches long, and all her painted nails come up to 19 feet. Mrs. Sinkfield is very proud of her nails and her achievement. She always draws attention of people when she goes out, but she agrees that everyone is not impressed when they see her nails. Despite the fact that her nails are pretty weird and most people believe they are ugly, she still thinks that those who doesn’t like her nails are jealous of her bizarre accomplishment.

Hong Kong roads are different from the rest of roads in China. Hong Kong, the former British colony has kept the British tradition to drive on the right side of the road. However, when you want to connect such place with the rest of the “normal” world which is driving on the left side of the road, you have to have a crossing point specially designed for that.

Here you can see a number of projects which were submitted by architects to a competition for the construction of the Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities.

One of those is The Flipper Bridge and it is used to safely connect the roads where people drive on the left side and the roads where people drive on the right side.

Mad Street Dogs Ate Up the Front Side of a Car!

I guess the owner of this freshly destroyed car in Sarajevo would definitely got pissed off if you would play him a song “Who let the dogs out?”.

Here you are watching at the photos of new but destroyed car of the unlucky owner from Bosnian capital Sarajevo. But, the damage you can see hasn’t been done by human vandals, like it does look like… You will be amazed when you hear that this damage has been actually done by a group of street dogs.

Although I considered street dogs not so dangerous, I am considering changing my consideration after seeing this, because this does look more like it was done by some werewolf than dogs.

Frederico Uribe is an artist who makes paintings from pencils, jigsaw pieces and other similar tiny objects which are suitable for use for this purpose.

The pencils and other parts from which he makes those artworks are carefully glued up on a panel so they all together are forming colorful paintings which remind me on Van Gogh’s paintings.

I always liked robotics and while I was small kid I had a few tries to make an RC airplane but unfortunately I have never succeeded.

Today, things are little bit different, it is easy to buy parts and make your own RC aircraft in minutes. Or you do not have to buy parts at all, it is easier to buy aircraft and eventually to attach some camera on it and immediately to enjoy in adventure. The technology has reached impressive levels today and today’s kids are able to have some toys which previous generations couldn’t even imagine.

One of such interesting toys which looks like it came right from the future is this small robot-fly which is called Lilly. Lilly does not need water nor food and even it will not need a battery to fly because it is powered by solar energy which is collected by panels placed on its wings.

I was always claiming that I believe that the world which we can’t see without microscopes is as same big as the world which we have to watch with telescopes.

It is known that we cannot reach too much with our telescopes and that we have limits. Scientists have pointed a telescope in one single tiny dark spot which was believed to be empty and they observed it for a number of days with super strong telescope and guess what they found? Hundreds thousands of new galaxies! I believe that this is much pretty same when we point our magnifying devices into anything on the earth. You can see molecules, we know that there are atoms (despite the fact we never saw them) and we know that those atoms are made from smaller parts. But, it is not so clear where this ends, what’s the smallest particle?

Playing with microscope can be one nice way to avoid playing FarmVille on Facebook and the following photos should gain your interests for this kind of activity. Flying Penguins Discovered by BBC and Terry Jones!

I love BBC’s documentaries about the wildlife. There are plenty of awesome wildlife documentaries on Youtube made by BBC and Terry Jones but, the following one is really special.

We all knew that penguins cannot fly, they are to fat and they don’t have feathers and proper wings to do that. However BBC seems to have discovered a totally new specie of flying penguins. Yes, you read that correctly, flying penguins! According to the words spoken in this documentary, those flying penguins are traveling thousands of miles to the South American rain forests during the winters when it is too cold… We just have to mention one thing for the ending of the article, this video has been posted by BBC on April 1, 2011.

The idea about having an office everywhere you go sounds pretty nice, some will say that you can have your own mobile office only having a single piece of electronics, like a specific laptop or something similar, but the true office needs to have a specific place.
