Chen Chun-hao is an artist well-known as Howard Chen in western, he uses an air compressor, a nail gun and number of other small nails to make wonderful art works.

There are other artists except Chen who have used nails to create beautiful art works. The most well-known person using nail in the art world is Marcus Levine, Saimir Strati and Shannon Larratt have also tried to create artworks using nails. All these artists have hammered the nails into the canvas to crate artworks, but Chen Chun hao makes use of nail gun, this helps his to make use to thousands of metals pins without heads (mosquito nails) for all of his masterpieces. He shoots these nails into white canvas one by one, making reproductions of classic ink paintings of Chinese.

Initially Chen did not use nails, but at first he started with another unique medium, thumbtacks. He used them for more than a decade to create all types of sculptures and installations, from mosaics of billboard size on the building sides to scary dolls and also an installation of 8/8 m on the floor of an art gallery, created from almost 340,000 thumbtack all arranged in a similar direction so that they glittered when people walked by them. According to him it was luck that he moved from thumbtacks to mosquito nails, but he agrees that he has been much more skilled since instead of using bare hands he has been using nail gun.

Chen is a 39 year old artist and spends almost ten hours in a day in his art studio, he shoots lot of nails into he canvas. He has worked with more than 4 million nails since January 2010, he has already changed 25 nails guns and also broken couple of air compressors.

Maya Pixelskaya is very interested and passionate about movies, video games and art, so she thought of combining all three and making some exceptional designs on her fingernails.

A detailed acknowledgment to classic video game Doom is one of her fingernail paintings, it was all over the internet recently, it spread like virus on most of the social networking sites such as Reddit. Though the art became very popular, but no one mentioned the name of the artist. Luckily a member of Reddit identified her work and he did a good job by linking her website, this is how everyone came to know about Maya’s fingernail art.

Maya Pixelskaya is a 26 year old gril from Madrid, Spain. She loves movies and video games. Whenever she was bored of studying in college, she would find her time pass by actively painting salutes to her favorite movies and video games on her fingernails. Like many other college students, she didn’t like to get stuck in college desks for long time studying, so she started painting her nails beautifully while sitting the class for hours and hours. Some of her beautiful paintings include Doom, Curse of Monkey Island, Jaws, Amelie and The Night before Christmas.

Wang is a well-known person in his city as he normally greets everyone with the words “hello” and “do you smoke”? And he also asked them do they any cigarette packs? He agrees that he has been attracted with cigarette packs from his childhood, he collected his first pack from the street, he started collecting them when he was only seven years old. He first got attracted by the dark colors and beautiful images on the packs, and he continued collecting them until he collected 600,000 of them. His house was almost filled with cigarette packs everywhere, he was running out of space, he saw show on TV about how a man constructed a house with the help of wine bottles. He got inspired by the show and he did the same thing with his cigarette pack collection.

It almost took him a month to complete 30 foot building that looks like fort, which was built with 600,000 bright cigarette packs. It was 4.68m wide, 1.68m wide, 6.06m long and Gunanyi won a certificate from the office of Record in China for the largest cigarette pack in the world. But unfortunately he had constructed this wonderful fort on rented space, and since the rent was too high for him, he had to tear it down soon after the record was acknowledged.

Wide-angle pictures consisting of more than one photo stitched together manually are called as Panographies. They provide an impression that you would get when looking everywhere and arranging the images together in your head.

A skilled photographer from Dusseldorf, Germany, Mareen Fischinger, has developed the technique that lets you to capture a whole scene, by arranging many photos of that scene.

She does it like this: Firstly she selects something exciting to photography, then looks for the appropriate spot to shoot from and she doesn’t move from her position until the whole procedure is complete. Next she arranges the white balance manually, focus, f-stop and shutter speed of the camera so that all the photographs are exposed similarly. Then she pin points and shoots, she makes sure that she moves the camera lens so that she can cover various positions. More the shots overlap the easier it is to arrange panography.

The main secret for a great panogaphy is making sure that you have captured everything in the scene that you want, you should even cover the most uninteresting aspects, otherwise there will be something missing in your whole image, after arranging the pictures. Mareen uses software to edit images like Photoshop to alter the photos after taking the photos, and she assembles them on RGB canvas like puzzle. It may take sometime to get used to it, but it really looks fantastic at the end.

The MONA or the museum on Non-Visible Art is house for different types on invisible works of art, which can be appreciated by reading the description by the artists. I know its sounds crazy, but someone really spent $10,000 for one of such masterpieces.

I have always wondered why people spend too much money on these abstract art pieces that is similar to the work of someone who doesn’t has anything in common related to art. But after seeing so many art lovers, now I don’t wonder anymore about them and their habit of buying art pieces, at least not after hearing about the woman who paid $10,000 for an artwork that she even can’t see. Fresh Air was one of the masterpieces displayed at the Museum of Non-Visible art, it was a bizarre project supported by James Franco, an actor that attempts to take the abstract to a complete new level. You can find an official website and a video of this museum, but fundamentally the museum houses works of art, which have no existence in physical or real world, but they are just in the imagination of the artist.

When someone purchases one of these unique creations, they only get a card with a detailed description by the author who has created the artwork and a letter of accuracy. You can keep the card on an empty wall in your house or in the gallery and explain it to visitors.

Artist Rob Surette always wanted to make something unusual and unique than any other artist’s tribute to the catastrophic events of 2011, especially September 11. For this purpose he went to one of his childhood toys, Lite-Brite pegs, and he was successful in creating the largest Lite-Brite image of the world.

The self explained fastest portrait artist of the world who is known for his fast brush strokes once created a portrait of Albert Einstein only in sixty seconds, though he had lightening speed in his brushes, but he has not won any place in the record books until today. His recent artwork, which is made from many Lite-Brite pegs will definitely get him a place in record books this time. He said, he didn’t want to beat the world record, but he wanted to create something so that he can add to the healing of September 11. The image created by him measures about 10 feet by 20 feet and he has given it a title of World Peace. The image is made from 504,000 pegs, and it weighs about 1750 pounds and it describes 100 different faces from different races, religions and cultures and is meant for world peace.

He said, he felt that with his inspiration, to have it as a world record and this will help attract more people and help it move around the world so that everyone can see it. At first, he got the idea of creating the huge Lite-Brite image after looking at the picture of the present record holder on a blog related to art.

The pencils and other parts from which he makes those artworks are carefully glued up on a panel so they all together are forming colorful paintings which remind me on Van Gogh’s paintings.

Creating paintings like these requires a lot of time and concentration because every detail has to be perfectly planned, placed and prepared.

It is amazing how some of those cities have become so huge, jammed up with hundreds of skyscapers and other buildings. But, as it always use to be, the true shine of every city can be seen only in the night.

Pierre Capati is photographer who has created a series of astonishing photos of big cities in Malaysia, Singapore, Taipei and Hong Kong.

He managed to capture amazing view of those cities, and like he wants to show us how the life in those sparkling places does not lose on its intensity at the night and it even may be that those places are becoming even more alive at the night.

They have demonstrated their robo-painter which was named Leonardo. This “robo-painter” has been made from 1100 paintball guns and they used it to draw a portrait of Mona Lisa in a single second. Be sure to watch the end of this exciting vide where slow motion of the painting creation is showed.
