Sea Monster Sculpture By Huang Yong Ping Installed At Qatar Museums Gallery

Huang Yong Ping’s sculptural sea monster has recently been installed at Qatar Museums Gallery Al Riwaq as a part of exhibition of Chinese creatives and collectives.

The installation features Huag Yong Ping’s sea-monster sculpture which filled the 22 meter circular gallery at the museum.

Huang Yong Ping is Franco-Chinese artist and this installation is originally constructed for the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.

This sea-monster, which itself represents the mutation of an octopus and cluttlefish, is made to reflect the damage humans are doing to the nature.
