The Future of Tires – Goodyear’s Sphere Tire Eagle-360

Last updated on March 11th, 2017 at 06:23 pm

One of the world’s leading companies producing the tires for cars has came up with new concept – a spherical tire called Eagle-360.

The new spherical tire which should be produced by 3D-printing has amazing performance. One of the main features it offers is that the tires are not connected to the car at all. So, we are not talking just about tires but also wheels. So, Goodyear plans to produce wheels for cars which use magnets to connect with the car and the rest of car is actually levitating over them. This allows cars to move in any direction at any time without turning.
