Who would imagine that we could produce useful energy even while we are resting on the chair?

Ryan Klinger has designed the Empower, the chair which is capable to generate energy while you are sitting on it and to store it into a lithium battery so you can use it via USB and other standard outlets.

The Empower chair generates kinetic energy from its swing and transforms it into electric energy. This might be pretty useful at the airports where is a demand for additional electricity plug always on high level.
