International sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created impressive sand sculpture to celebrate the New Year. His not so simple sculpture has a very simple message: “Let It Be a Green Year”.
This sculpture was made during the 7th sand art festival which was held in Puri beach of Orissa, India.
His “Green Year” sculpture shows the Earth with green continents, green trees and they speak enough about the message that artist wanted to send to the world. And we say so, let it be a green year indeed!

He also created this 25-foot tall sand sculpture of Santa claus at the same sand art festival, on December 24.
