If you were in Singapore today you could see that there is happening something pretty unusual on the Singapore River. Thousands of “wishing spheres” are taking a part of an art installation that took the place on the Singapore River on December 18.
Thousands of people wrote down their New Year wishes on those “wishing spheres”. There were few “wishing stations” located in Singapore where you could write down some of your wishes on the wishing sphere.

This event is organized by Marina Bay Singapore Countdown organization. They have said on their official website that those wishing spheres represents a hope, a belief that the New Year will bring new possibilities and a brighter tomorrow.
About 10,000 wishing spheres will take over the Marina Bay during the New Year’s Eve countdown.

Like this one, I love photographs that shine on to the occasion.
I just hope that these so-called “wishing spheres” are biodegradable.
This is fantastic idea, yet I would like to know if they are bio degradable ????
Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
