Sao Paulo Celebrates End of The Year By Releasing Thousands of Balloons

We have written earlier about wishing spheres in Singapore which were set up to float in Singapore River as a part of New Year’s celebration. It seems that these days a lot of people out there are trying to celebrate the New Year in their own unique way. Fireworks are definitely out of fashion.

Sao Paulo’s Commercial Association have organized an event where a thousands of biodegradable balloons were released as a part of  celebration of the end of year. You can see here photos of thousands of balloons which covered Sao Paulo sky on December 30.
