A woman from Netherlands has a weird hobby: She is swallowing spoons and forks.

Margaret Daalmans from Rotterdam ate 78 different items of cutlery and medics were forced to cut her up to draw out the spoons and forks from her.

“She seems to have been suffering from some sort of obsession and every time she sat down for a meal she would ignore the food and eat the cutlery,” said one medic.

Margaret Daalmans claims that she doesn’t know the real reason of her obsession but she admitted that she “felt an urge to eat the silverware” and that she just couldn’t help herself.
